My uncle Harry was a kind and loving person who was great fun to be around. As a child i used to look forward to the weekend when he would visit and stay with us all weekend he used to drive a motorbike until he fell off one time and was advised not to continue going on it .
I used to love him calling to see us as we were guarenteed a video to watch. He was a very religious person and even spent time as a monk in his younger days even though he left but still never married he was always seen going to mass daily and was well known in the town. But as he got older he found it difficult to get out and about and the visits soon stopped. It was now our time to visit him. I grew up and married i made sure he was at my wedding no matter what i had to do i wanted him there. When i had my own children he was always treating them just like he did us as we grew up. On October 2005 He was diagnosed with terminal lung Cancer and our world fell apart he was given about 6 weeks and on the 4th Of December he quietly passed away surrounded by his family. We will always miss him and he will always have a special place in my heart
Uncle Harry I know you are watching over us all I love you dearly and miss you terribly I'll always remember the fun we had and the funny things you used to say loving you always
